About the event

Extreme Community Makeover (ECM) Work Day

Westwood Neighborhood | Volunteer in Denver

Join SustainEd Farms and community partners for the Extreme Community Makeover (ECM) Work Day in Denver’s Westwood neighborhood on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This exciting Denver volunteer event brings together residents, students, families, and local organizations to improve neighborhoods, beautify school gardens, and build stronger community connections.

Extreme Community Makeover (ECM) is a citywide movement of volunteers working alongside neighborhood residents to complete home, school, and community improvement projects that create safer, cleaner, and more connected communities across Denver.

This year, SustainEd Farms is proud to once again participate in Go: Westwood, a beloved annual Westwood community cleanup and neighborhood improvement day. Volunteers will help revitalize two important school garden spaces serving local students: Kepner Beacon Middle School and nearby Munroe Elementary School.
