About the event
We are so excited to be continuing our monthly volunteer happy hour series throughout this growing season. Every month we will meet at a different school garden to do some volunteer work (weeding, watering, seeding, harvesting, organizing, etc.) then we will partner with a neighboring brewery for happy hour after. This is a great way to support our work by getting your hands dirty and learn about our impact over a beverage after.
Our October event will be at McAuliffe Middle School (2540 Holly St). Volunteer work will be from 5:30-6:15. Happy hour will be at Long Table Brewhouse (2895 Fairfax St) from 6:15-7:00.
