About the event
Join SustainEd Farms for a powerful week of community action as we build a new school garden at Florence Crittenton High School.
This project will create a dedicated outdoor space for pregnant teens and teen mothers, a place that supports both food access and healing. The garden will serve as a hands-on learning environment where students can grow fresh produce, develop practical life skills, and connect with their children in a safe, supportive setting.
Volunteers will play a critical role in bringing this space to life. Tasks will include site preparation, raised bed installation, irrigation setup, and pathway construction. No prior experience is necessary, just a willingness to work hard and be part of something meaningful.
Volunteer Shifts:
Afternoon shifts are available (1-4 PM) on Monday 3/30, Tuesday 3/31, Wednesday 4/1, Thursday 4/2, and Saturday 4/4.
A morning shift is available (9-Noon) on Thursday 4/2.
